Ready for the red clay Nike Claybreaker technology provides improved traction and less clay court build-up. The added grip in the forefoot and midfoot provides a wide traction pattern for control when sliding. We used traction maps, pressure maps and analysed sand build-up areas for the design. Then we tested it on red clay courts in Europe under different clay court conditions (cold, warm, wet and dry). Low Cut for High Speed The Vapor 11's design is lower than any of our previous versions for an incredibly lightweight feel during quick movements and explosive changes of direction. Springy feel A Zoom Air element in the forefoot provides cushioning at impact and helps you reach the forehand at the baseline or suddenly approach the net. The cushioned midsole provides support without weighing you down unnecessarily. Easy to put on We've simplified the entry into the shoe with a comfortable half liner that makes it easy to put on. We've removed rubber in low-wear areas to reduce weight. Durable, reinforced mesh keeps your feet cool and provides additional support.
