Created for the Southern Hemisphere's most prestigious tennis tournament, these adidas track pants highlight a brand-new approach to carbon recycling. Built using yarn that includes captured industrial emissions, they offer a comfortable layer during knock-ups and practise sessions thanks to their moisture-wicking AEROREADY. Ankle zips ensure they're easy to get off when the real action begins.For this product we turned to a greenhouse gas technology.It uses captured industrial emissions as a new material feedstock. CO2 is fermented into ethanol which constitutes 30% by weight of a polyester yarn. We knitted this yarn into various products and now this carbon-based ethanol makes up a minimum of 15% by weight of this garment.With the help of innovation, we are seeing possibilities in turning towards new resources.
