Ellesse was one of the first labels to place its own logo alongside the brand name prominently on its products, cleverly and to great media effect. Beyond the tennis court too, Ellesse won over well-known brand ambassadors, including boxing legend Muhammad Ali and Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger.
