Padel Test Rackets

With the Tennis-Point test racket service you can order up to three padel rackets at once and try them out on court for 10 days before you commit to a model. That is especially worthwhile if you are torn between different racket shapes or materials and want to feel the difference in a real match.

What should you look out for when testing?

  • Weight: Padel rackets usually weigh between 340 and 390 g. Lighter models make control easier and are gentler on your arm, heavier ones deliver more power but tire you out faster.
  • Balance: Handle-heavy rackets improve control, head-heavy ones increase power – an even balance is a compromise between the two.
  • Racket shape: Round, teardrop or diamond changes the size and position of the sweet spot, and with it whether you play more for control or for power.
  • Material: Fibreglass frames are more forgiving and more comfortable, carbon frames deliver more power and precision.
  • Behaviour on different shots: Deliberately test the smash, volley and bandeja to get a feel for ball control and vibration – an important criterion especially if you have arm problems.

How the test racket service works in three steps

  1. Order: Choose up to three padel rackets from our test racket range (including adidas, Babolat, Bullpadel, HEAD and Wilson) and complete your order. The fee is 15 € per racket.
  2. Test: From the day you receive them you have 10 days to put the rackets through their paces on court – ideally in several different match situations, not just in a single session.
  3. Send back & decide: Return the test rackets free of charge using the enclosed returns label. If you like one of the models, you will receive a voucher by email towards your new purchase. If nothing was quite right, you can simply order up to three more test rackets.
